I feel like NFTs are trading at prices more indicative of BTC's price in a decade rather than now. The problem is although you "own" something, and can irrefutably prove you do, owning it doesn't provide anything other than bragging rights at this point, which is only worth as much as the next biggest ego. Attaching copyright to the NFTs would provide some sort of value that's missing. For example, buying a "Hey, Jude" NFT is cool and all, but if I don't get royalties (or the ability to control where it's used) from it, as per McCartney, what's the point? Right now, you own a digital certificate that says you BOUGHT something, not that you OWN it and have control over it.

As someone who played RuneScape. This isn’t even that crazy to me. As a kid, I always wanted a Santa or Party Hat that was worth $1,000s of real world dollars. Why? Since you can no longer meet or have lunch or collaborate with them... is that the end of their NFT? And if so, what does that mean for an NFT as an investment?
