  1. Mac Notts

Just a thought, if you were walking on public access land and no warning signs. Then report it. You could save someone else who maybe older and not got a brolly.

  2. Daina S

Wow!! You are very lucky! I'm So glad you are both ok!! Love from Oz.

  3. Elani Arkady

So glad you both are ok! Snuggles to brave Sherpa.

  4. Simon Tam

While you were protecting Sherp he was standing by your side incase the moment you needed to be protected as a last resort. Sherp had that fight or flight instinct in him and he was gonna use one. He is just really smart and knows when to use which instinct. That bond with him doesnt need to get stronger. Him by your side the entire time only proves how strong your bond with him is.

  5. Gay Lowe

What about carrying a can of canned air-horn ?

  6. Kathleen Mackey

I think you should keep the yellow pillows, too, since they bring out the yellow in the striped pillows. You place looks so cozy!

  7. Kim Vail

If canned air horns are available to you, those make an excellent deterrent

  8. Adrien Gilfillan

You need to put a Sherpa magnet outside under his window

  9. C C

    How close were they?!

  10. Anne Cohen

Get well, Sherpa! I have you in my thoughts. Say hi to your hoomans for me!! Love ya!

  11. Melanie Cooper

If you can, carry a medium plastic bag with you, one that really makes noise when you shake it. Glad everyone is alright. =)

  12. atlvquisdi udohiyo

Your best bet is to avoid a area that that has a stallion protecting his mare's I have known stallions to kill their owners and a air horn or whip may have the opposite effect on a stallion and you being able to shoulder block the horse just shows he wasn't in mood to fight

  13. Melissa Harden

Try to find a long, narrow gray patterned tapestry or painting for the blank space!

  14. Melissa Harden

Can you buy beer spray in England?

  15. M Mac

I hears Sherpa can get farty?

  16. Momo

Good grief. Glad you guys are ok.

  17. Sonia Garcia

Omg !!!!! Thank god that you guys are ok and safe !!! Always bring pepper spray with you, it sounds scary ..... big hug for you guys ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  18. Melissa Bishop

So happy you and Sherpa are ok. Poor things.

  19. Sammi Q Patriot

@Sherpaโ€™s Day #2 of 2, The curtains, I actually liked the ones too, but the new ones do look very nice too. And youโ€™re right the new ones do look more chic/clean and less distracting, how nice she also made cushions to match! Jamie: โ€œLook at me talking about cushions, never thought that would happen.โ€ ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ Then when @Sister Sarah was shopping... Jamie: โ€œWho even are you?โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ My husband used to play a trick when weโ€™d go shopping, all of a sudden he would dramatically step away from me (sometimes actually lightly shove me away) and yell out really loud โ€œGet away from me lady! I donโ€™t even know you!โ€ ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ It was hilarious! A couple of times some other random guy we didnโ€™t know would call out to my husband and say something like โ€œShe could do better than you anyway!โ€ ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ or โ€œShe could bother me anytime she wanted!โ€ ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ So.. he doesnโ€™t do it anymore LOL! Too funny! I think Sarah should get back at you for your comment โ€œIโ€™m with that thingโ€ canโ€™t wait to see what she does LOL! ๐Ÿ˜‚

  20. Linda Nadeau

So glad you and Sherpa are OK.

  21. Dachdog

Don't burn the house down with you new curtains and candle. Yikes!

  22. Amy Mayville

You are a brave doggo dad Jamie!!! Way to save Sherp!!!

  23. RetroMiner 11

Airhorn or something that makes a loud noise

  24. Janet Carey

So happy youโ€™re both safe and sound! Love the new curtains and cushions! The lady did a nice job ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The large stunning picture you received of Sherpa would look perfect over your sofa!

  25. N Pats

  26. Mathew Heninghem

put a big picture of sherpa AND you in that space :) I think it'd look really nice

  27. Nancy L

    Beautiful walk!

  28. puddles pickles

    Amazing glass gift,

  29. Akantia

All Sherp wanted was the sausages. Got told in a minute and he's sat there going "no" & "now" X'D

  30. Jacques Tamlyn

Bloody hell thatโ€™s full on. When Horses fire up they are pretty scary and they are huge animals. No wonder you got a fright. Sometimes talking to them quietly and steadily will calm them down, as they do get flighty, and react to your fear, But hard to do when you are protecting your dog. My mateโ€™s had to wade into water and punch a Kangaroo that was trying to drown his dog after tearing the dogโ€™s abdomen from chest to back leg, they arenโ€™t something to be messed with. Sorry that happened poor Sherpa and you know wonder he needs a sleep.

  31. Robyn Taylor

    Glad you both are ok!!!

  32. Oneness Light

Scary stuff. You are both very brave and support each other in any situation. Great bond, guys. We have huge sheep guarding dogs here in the Transylvanian mountains and they attack you in groups. Especially if you have a dog with you and our malamutes are crazy aswell ๐Ÿ˜ I always carry an electric teaser stick with me. It won't kill them, but it scares the hell out of them. It's enough for us to protect ourselves. Makes a pretty scary noise and it's painful enough to make them run away if needed.

  33. Just Me

    Air horn.

  34. LizzieWhiz

Seatone Green Lipped Mussel Extract, a friend of mine used it on her arthritic Doberman....worked a treat. ยฃ10.36 on amazon 90 capsules. If you give him 3 a day it is still cheaper then the Vets meds.

  35. jay massacre

As soon as u said fishsticks and chicken he woke up ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜i love it Hi from nyc

  36. ROB Bohea

Look at his big old lion mane.

  37. Susan Gaudet

The birds are looking for niger seeds, not that mullet

  38. alyson hans

is that recorded because id like to see the footage. umbrella doesn't work for them.

  39. alyson hans

with a horse or horses, stand in front with a distance and put ur arms up and stops them.

  40. trish tucker

Iโ€™m so happy you all are doing okay! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

  41. JoAnna Broussard

Black oil sunflower seeds are a favorite for many birds. As for the horses it sounds like a stallion protecting his herd. Keep a good walking stick with you.

  42. Divya Patra

That must be very scary for both of you. Thank God both of you are safe. Please take care be careful.

  43. spawnthecrazy

    What happened to the van?

  44. dorinda jensen

Those appear to be Chickadee,s they like sunflower seeds.

  45. Brandy King

He's such a good boy! I'm glad you had your umbrella! Horses are HUGE! I'm sure that was terrifying, you poor boys!

  46. Patricia Strang

I'm late to this. How scary ๐Ÿ˜ณ good idea from another viewer..get an air horn. They sell them in cans on amazon. I used to have birds. All of them will eat the bigger seeds (sunflower?) because its like junk food for us. They're fatty and we all love fatty junk food dont we ๐Ÿคช

  47. Bob Shy

Weird. The few times my dog and I encountered horses/cows, she would growl and bark at them and they would bolt. One time, she scattered 30 cows.

  48. SuperDesignChick

I think those are finches so you may want to try Nyjer seed.

  49. SuperDesignChick

Okay so if a horse ever charges you, they are in a blind run. You need to speak loudly and authoritatively and wave your hands above your head. You are the boss, not the horse. Many horses have trauma from dogs biting at their feet. Just buy a long whip, they are not expensive and light to carry. If you go there often, try going to the owner and see if they would introduce you to the horses and let you know if they are normally aggressive and see if they are trained to back off by anything specific. Be kind, horse owners are protective of their animals. Just let them know you donโ€™t have experience and are wondering if they can teach you a little so there are no problems in the future. Also, how are you walking in someoneโ€™s horse pasture without their permission?

  50. Lynn's INTENTION

I have been riding horses my whole life and this is a very unusual situation.....Perhaps that one horse is a bit nuts because most horses are scared of their shadows and run at any instant... The umbrella was a good idea. THat said I had a boarder collie once who used to bite at the heels of horse at the horse farm I went to so I always had to tie him up...One kick from a horse is deadly...As for horses all coming at you at once...That is a scene for a horror movie!

  51. rcfanaticdublin

Glad to hear you got home in one piece...I think there was a Television program about wild horses in your area...Country File's? Jim Rockford style Breakfast bar :p

  52. Spelling Questionable

    He can kiss my face.

  53. Betsy Scales

Have you considered wrapping those pipes in insulation pipe wrap? It could prevent problems at lower temperatures in the future. Just a thought. Glad Sherpa is doing better but much frustration over the van. Ugh!

  54. beverly crusher

12:08, you could attach a plate to the bottom of the bird feeder to catch what gets spilled, also it would give some of the bigger birds a chance to eat too, as for the horses, you might try carrying around a pocket full of party poppers or an air horn to scare them off

  55. beverly crusher

8:38 move the candle about 12 cm foreword

  56. strat4ordgirl

Just found this online, maybe they were just showing you affection ๐Ÿ˜•. Err no! I wouldnโ€™t believe either!๐Ÿ˜‚. Glad youโ€™re both safe. Just like humans, horses all have different ways of showing affection, to each other and to their people. Some horses may seem nippy, constantly putting their lips, or even their teeth, on each other and on us. ... Sometimes just standing close to each other, playing or touching each other is a sign of affection.

  57. ADS

Get an Indy Jones bull whip. They look fine hanging on the wall by the door too. Otherwise get a good rope. Best is a lariat type that is fairly stiff. They also adorn the wall well and either are light and easy to carry.

  58. AV_ArtHistory

YIKES! Glad you're both OK. I don't think of horses are being so aggressive like that, although I have very limited experience with them, and the few I have, they have been butterballs and friendly, if a little rambunctious being curious/pushing for treats. Ugh. I feel for both of you..... And then there's the van. also yikes. When they're pulled apart like that it's pretty harrowing.

  59. Latona aka Workaholic_RN

    O. M. G. That was scary & I wasnโ€™t even there. Bless his heart & yours - thank goodness for having an umbrella on you ๐Ÿ’œ PS: love the new curtains & hopefully it wonโ€™t be much longer till the van is fixed ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  60. Wendy Monette

Glad to hear youโ€™re both safe โ™ฅ๏ธ

  61. glen johnson

Famous words from your kid I"LL PAY YOU BACK. but i never got paid back.

  62. Happy Girl

Oh my goodness! Nothing more terrifying and heart stopping than seeing your pet that you love more than anything, being in danger and looking at you for protection with fear in their eyes! Thinking of you and Sherpa in that situation broke my heart and tears to my eyes! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜– I'm so happy you are both safe! So scary! Just knowing that sweet Sherpa doesn't understand is so sad. He's always felt safe around animals. I hope this doesn't break his free spirit. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ I love you guys! ๐Ÿ’ž

  63. bigmeatieballs

get a sheleighly if the horse acts up give it a real hard crack right in the head i would say get a gun and fire a round into the dirt but your not in america

  64. T J

Hi Jamie, please move that candle further away from the new curtain as it is a major fire hazard. Wouldn't want you two to suffer any more :)

  65. Lennard Sturgess

I'm happy everyone is well. stockman's whip. bring something that makes a heap of loud noise. like a portable speaker. Or metal or a portable air horn

  66. Fatima Ali

Hey Sherpa hope ur ok ๐Ÿ‘Œ how is bat dog ainโ€™t heared from him in a while x

  67. Indelyn

Sherpa staying by your side ............Sherpa was protecting YOU

  68. Indelyn

Sounds terrifying ...I went looking for something similar

  69. agentorangecb1

I got chased by one too. I backed off and when i did, it came forward. I started running and had to vault a wall just in time. Hurt my back a bit falling but could've been worse. It sounds a bit trivial and funny but they are huge! and especially Sherpa could easily get trampled or kicked. Pepper spray sounds a bit extreme... Would a loud noise work, like a horn or personal alarm?

  70. Julia

The photo album is soooooo beautiful!!!!!!! I love it!! The other photos are so awesome also. Thank you for sharing yโ€™allโ€™s lives with everyone. Stay safe, stay strong!!!

I think if you put a portrait with you, Sister Sarah and Sherpa it would look really nice.

  76. Samantha Baker

You charged a horse?! Beast mode much?? ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… glad you both are safe ๐Ÿ™โค

  77. Mary M

    Poor Sherpa

  78. Felnik1990 P.

When horses attack! WOW I've never heard of a situation like this with horses. Really glad that you and Sherpa are safe at home.

  79. George P

A big print picture of you sarah and sherpa would be perfect for that big space!

  80. W JD

How about having a can of the blow horn? You know, the type of horn noise that's very loud, used in soccer matches. Horses hate such loud noises.
